 Cannot reinstall Van+ for FSX

I recently uninstalled FSX and all its addons, including Vancouver+. When I attempted to reinstall Van+ from the DVD I purchased, it asked for serial number. I have no serial number. I have only a long Registry Key number, (which I typed in instead , lacking serial number). Of course, I could not reinstall Vancouver +. I have an order ID # and a customer ID#.
So, how do I reinstall Vancouver+?

........ By 'correctly' typing in (or better yet: copy&pastíng) that long serial number. You probably didn't use the ENTIRE number or made a typo somehow.

If you email me your (simMarket) order number, I can confirm your serial number, just to make sure. Wink

Hi there, one other thing to note, the installation is protected with an (ANSI character) Serail Number. If your operating system is set for an Unicode enviornment, see 'Changing Language for non-Unicode Programs' ( aka 'System Locale' ) in your operating system's 'Language Options'.

Thanks. I have no idea about my OS having this, Is it important, since I did install Van+?

No, if you installed it already, you're done.

Windows has problems recognizing regular input in systems that are set for Chinese characters (for instance). A correct serial number typed on such a system would not be recognized.
