Hello all,

Well, as some of you have seen, I might do a partnership aircraft series with FSAddon, and was wondering, if I do, which of these a/c would you like me to make first?

Here is my quality standard, though the paint is not quite done, and the model has a diffrent nose than the real plane. (picture at bottom of page.)

Real plane: http://cdn-www.airliners.net/aviation-photos/photos/2/8/4/1052482.jpg

-Stinson V-77 Gullwing (real a/c probably avail. for photoreal, sounds, panel, etc.)

-Cessna 180/185

-Fairchild C-82 Packet

-Fairchild C-119 Boxcar

-Beechcraft C-45H (real a/c avail. for photoreal, sounds, panel, etc.)

Howard DGA-15P (real a/c avail. for photoreal, sounds, panel, etc.)

-Evangel 4500

-Noorduyn Norseman

-Taylorcraft BC-12D, F-19, etc. (real a/c may be avail. for photoreal, sounds, panel, etc.)

-Other?

(Type the names of any of the aircraft in google or similar to bring up more info.)

ED: picture is an attachment

Thanks for reading,
"Taylorcraft" Very Happy

Dear Taylorcraft,
Well, as you know, my first choice would have to be the Norseman, but the V-77 runs a close second. The C-45 if you would make a float version would be excellent.
Cheers, Fritz

Definately the Cessna 180/185.

These planes are everywhere in the Bush and no one has yet to make a decent version. I think the one I have in my signature pic is from FS2002 but the model is even older than that.

I would kill to get my hands on a float equipped C185. Very Happy

Though there are a few Norsemans still about, definitely the Cessna 185!

Also I want the Cessna 180/185 first!
But there are other interesting and in Alaska used bush planes. The Helio Courrier is one of them. It's also a popular plane.

A good overview about bush planes you get from this page:

Jürgen

Now, why do you all have to choose a completely diffrent plane? Wink It will take me forever to make all those... a 180 and a 185?! So many! Laughing I will probably release the V-77 first, as it is almost done, then the 180/185 combo.

For those who don't know about the V-77, a link to a page about it:

http://www.vintageaircraft.net/featured/2006%20-%20Vol.%2034,%20No.%2010%20-%20Stinson%20Gullwing.pdf

Jürgen,

Yes, I love the Helio, actually almost put it in the list! (Did the Evangel instead.) Might do one if I can get some more info, etc.

Thanks for reading,
"Taylorcraft"

No please no planes which are still done. I think FSADDON published the new Super Cup soon and so there is no need to do another one. My opinion is to do first the planes which are not available and then, if possible, create new and maybe "better" versions of available planes.
I can't find a OTTER (no Turbo OTTER) which has a good VC. There is a freeware FS2004 OTTER but this one has not a good VC. This is one which can be added to the list too. The OTTER is a very popular plane in Alaska too.

Joe,

Do you really need an autopilot? Wink

Jürgen,

Yes, I agree. I am going to release mostly planes that others have not made, or if a good version is not available. And mostly all piston powerd aircraft, (unless it's something like a jet-pod on the top of a C-119 Boxcar. Cool And only if I can even figure out how to have two recips and a jet! )

I also know the exact DHC-3 Otter you are talking about. Being that I have downloaded LOTS of freeware, I have put that as a req. of anything I make, to have good flight dynamics, VC, 2D, a detailed, low-poly model with good textures, and a good soundset.

Real recorded sounds, not like the A.S. Beaver. Love the plane, but the sounds are bad. (I have them replaced with the default FSX DHC-2 sounds.) It's like prolonged farting in cruise, and some passenger with a bad cough when the flaps go in! Laughing (I might get the pleasure to get to help run-up the local DGA, AT-6 and C-45, and if so I will try to make some better sounds from the recorded audio.)

Also, FS2004 and FSX on all, as alot of people (myself included! Embarassed ) don't have a strong enough PC to run FSX well. I have both FS9 and FSX, but where I can get 40-60+ FPS in FS9, FSX will get 20-30FPS, with the graphics the same or worse! ( Note, not "Normal Autogen" in FS9's sliders
and "Normal Autogen" in FSX, but a similar look inflight. )

NOTE: My R&D website "url" has changed, it is now http://www.GoldenAgeFS.com.

Thanks,
Chaz

'Ello, 'ello,
I suppose all of you veterans know about these, but I found that the Found Brothers FBA-1 was a nice looking, chunky little 'plane.
