Just a quick question to Simon (or any other that has an idea) involving a little bug with the CubX..

The Sava VSI gauge in the VC is reading way off the mark, by -200% to be exact. I have not found a .xml file anywhere that is related to this gauge in any folder or cab archive so I can repair the multiplier, am I safe to assume it is hard coded into the interior model?

Is there a fix for this, if not will there be? as this gauge fault is driving me nuts.

Quick questions don't work in Simon's case. He lives somewhere out in the boonies in South Africa and does not have much internet access. Patience please ... Smile

Yep gauges are part of the model as they are 3D gauges. But there's texture named bc gauge faces_L.dds which contains all the gauge backgrounds, if you want to go dialing some different number to your VSI gauge Razz

By the way my VSI shows correct readings.

Editing the face of the gauge atm is not an option.

It's interesting you say your gauge is reading correct. I have verified the gauge here with a stop watch and the altimeter it is way out. Also using the "VerticalSpeed=' variable shows the gauge is way out.

francois thank you I appreciate your reply, thats all that was required instead of a support request that just had the impression it was hanging out to dry.

Yeah, sorry Pete, I usually wait for the author to respond, as I am just a lowly publisher with usually as much internal knowledge as my customers Wink

I'll shoot him an email to drop in if he can.

Yep that seems correct. I just know my VSI needle is in zero when on the ground, so assuming that the needle is behaving correctly, then the readings in gauge texture are positioned in wrong places.

But I might be wrong Laughing

Thanks Francois, look forward any reply.

Pekka, redoing the texture for the gauge is just not in the options list. The graduations would just be way to fine within the zone that the SCub operates in.
