| FSAddon Signs Contract with Aerosoft |

FSAddon Publishing has signed a contract with Aerosoft for the distribution of her products via the latter's shop. For now three downloadable products have been added to the Aerosoft shop and more will follow.... as soon as the temperatures drop and Francois is settled in his summer office again, in a week or so.
Meanwhile, FSAddon also is occupying a place on Aerosoft's Andras Airfield, made by Andras Kozma of Budapest. Andras Field is, like Emma Field, a fantasy place aimed at building an on-line following and to serve as a virtual meeting place. We're happy to join them and will hopefully link the upcoming Emma Field to Andras' club in the future

| Gloster Gladiator X released |

Yup, IT IS OUT !!!!
Simon Smeiman's latest creation is the WW2 bi-plane Gloster Gladiator for FSX
Simon is constantly improving his skills and the new Gladiator is of excellent quality! It comes in three different variants, including a model on skis. In addition is has no less than SEVEN different liveries/skins.
There are also lots of animations included, like a complete maintenance crew working on the Gladiator when parked, and even the 4 .303 Browning canon CAN FIRE and throw out spent cartridges.
Don't worry, nothing gets hurt in FSX when doing so !
Of course the model is made after a real one and we took many pictures of the exterior and interior at Old Warden's Shuttleworth Collection in the the UK. The interior is completely modeled in Virtual Cockpit (no 2D supplied) and fully functional.
The Gladiator costs 16 Euros (ex VAT for EU customers), or roughly US$ 20,35 if you prefer to calculate in that currency. Non-EU customers do not pay the VAT of course.
And here's another tidbit of news: the new Gladiator will be sold in our equally brand spanking new web store, called the Silvercloud-store.

We'll be adding all of our products to it over the next couple of weeks. For some that is a LOT of work, so please bear with us.
A CD version will be released in the beginning of August, and the product will be on sale in other stores as well as soon as we can prepare all the needed files for that. We just didn't want to keep you waiting any longer !

| MP Server running dry ! |

All my own fault, I admit... I forgot to post my yearly 'donation' messages. So I paid all of last year mostly myself, and prepaid THIS year already too. Seeing so many people ask for money (often for themselves even) in the various forums, finally sparked the hidden brain cell to react: '.. darn, that server is running on fumes....!!'.And since I am not a large company, even though we have some great products, even a little rented VPS server makes nasty cuts into the income. But I know it serves a purpose, so I will try and keep it running for ya.
So, if you use it and can spare a few dollars, I'd really appreciate some help in keeping the server running. You can just go to the SERVICES PAGE and click on the 'Donate' button there..... as often as you like *chuckle*. FYI, I need some $ 600, but any bit will help!
On another note: the main site is now running on another server. We were getting too popular (also because of Simon's freeware downloads!!) and the host made us upgrade to a business account. A victim of our own success, as it were.... oh well.

Sorry folks, some creepy character seems to have hacked my forums and has been sending SPAM MESSAGES that appear to come from the 'admin' of this forum.
Obviously I did NOT send them, but I am sure you've figured that out right away.
I have made some changes, but I am not a specialist in fighting cyber crime unfortunately. I am just here to provide some nice FS products and services to people interested and to make a modest living.
I hope it doesn't happen again, but we all know what trash lives on the Internet these days. My apologies for the inconvenience.

The package has been released to simMarket, and we're waiting for it to show up in their shop.
Meanwhile I am working on getting our own US$ version posted on FSAddon.eu as well.
After all this I will be sleeping for a week..... been working feverishly for weeks on end, day and night, and the years start feeling..... both the Lysander's and mine !

| Gallopinggoose, our friend, has passed away |

Many of you will have known my good friend Jun Kazama, in many forums known as 'Gallopinggoose'.
I am sad to tell you that Jun passed away on December 3rd, a victim of cancer.
Our heartfelt condolences go to his dear wife Fumie first and foremost.
But also to all of his many friends all over the world, whom he charmed with his enthusiasm and Internet presence. Jun was part of many Internet communities and forums and always present in our Beta Teams. He was a virtual bush pilot, made wonderful videos and connected many Japanese simmers to the rest of the world.
I know from our conversations that Jun strongly believed in us coming back in another form after passing away. That means we'll meet again. Maybe, as Jun once said, as the eagles we both loved so much.
Rest in peace, my friend, until we meet again.
