FORUMS ARE BEING CLOSED SOON -- AND RE-OPENED ELSEWHERE!
Because of THIS forum software is old and no longer supported (AND giving us more trouble and spammers than we care for) we're slowly MOVING OUT.
The new forums are already implemented (but not for all products yet) on the FSAddon Publishing Website...... www.fsaddon.eu.
We'd like to ask you to register THERE as we will be closing the forums here at some point.

Here's a message to all our genuine forum participants: I am regularly cleaning the list of participants manually. I delete all and every 'user' that I suspect of being there just to spam us with their pathetic viagra, medicine and other lousy non-existing business. That is based on e-mail, 'real' user name and 'websites' that appear in the personal data.
IF by any chance you feel your user id was a genuine one and you find yourself blocked, you can e-mail me and I can un-block you after I have had a chance to verify your personal data.
Also. please note that we're changing to a new forum on the MAIN FSAddon.eu website. We'll gradually move all ACTIVE forums there.

FSAddon Publishing Helps to Continue Legacy
As many of our readers will already know, Ian 'Thatch' Thatcher sadly passed away on Saturday 28th of August, 2010. With him yet another one of the icons of Flight Simulator add-on development and freeware support was lost.
His widow, Tracey, has expressed the desire to keep Ian's work and dream alive and continue his famous FS-Shipyards website.
FSAddon Publishing is happy to announce that they will be supporting Tracey to achieve her goal to continue the FS-Shipyards.org website (www.fs-shipyards.org) and serve her community.
FS-Shipyards.org is Ian's original site dedicated to ship and naval simulation based upon Microsoft's Flight Simulator franchise and provides free ship model downloads and a forum for developers and shipping enthusiasts. It has done so for many years, and, with YOUR help, will continue to do so for many more years to come.
Ian, who was also known under other names such as Andy Weir and Thomas Trewin and publishing FS add-ons under those names, set up this site many years ago to further the development of the shipping aspect in the sim. He built a considerable community around it. Ian was also a member of the Golden Wings Gang, among other things providing landclass for 'Golden Hawai' and working with Bill Lyons.
Many of Ian's source files for ships will remain available for free on the FS-Shipyards download pages for others to use and learn building ships.
FSAddon Publishing, as one of the world's smaller but top quality add-on publishers, supports other freeware and commercial developers and sites and is also currently involved in a major shipping project for FSX.
We feel FS-Shipyards is both a good cause to support and an opportunity to benefit from each others skills, knowledge and enthusiasm to keep the 'FSX shipping market' open for business.

| FSAddon Signs Contract with Aerosoft |

FSAddon Publishing has signed a contract with Aerosoft for the distribution of her products via the latter's shop. For now three downloadable products have been added to the Aerosoft shop and more will follow.... as soon as the temperatures drop and Francois is settled in his summer office again, in a week or so.
Meanwhile, FSAddon also is occupying a place on Aerosoft's Andras Airfield, made by Andras Kozma of Budapest. Andras Field is, like Emma Field, a fantasy place aimed at building an on-line following and to serve as a virtual meeting place. We're happy to join them and will hopefully link the upcoming Emma Field to Andras' club in the future

| Gloster Gladiator X released |

Yup, IT IS OUT !!!!
Simon Smeiman's latest creation is the WW2 bi-plane Gloster Gladiator for FSX
Simon is constantly improving his skills and the new Gladiator is of excellent quality! It comes in three different variants, including a model on skis. In addition is has no less than SEVEN different liveries/skins.
There are also lots of animations included, like a complete maintenance crew working on the Gladiator when parked, and even the 4 .303 Browning canon CAN FIRE and throw out spent cartridges.
Don't worry, nothing gets hurt in FSX when doing so !
Of course the model is made after a real one and we took many pictures of the exterior and interior at Old Warden's Shuttleworth Collection in the the UK. The interior is completely modeled in Virtual Cockpit (no 2D supplied) and fully functional.
The Gladiator costs 16 Euros (ex VAT for EU customers), or roughly US$ 20,35 if you prefer to calculate in that currency. Non-EU customers do not pay the VAT of course.
And here's another tidbit of news: the new Gladiator will be sold in our equally brand spanking new web store, called the Silvercloud-store.

We'll be adding all of our products to it over the next couple of weeks. For some that is a LOT of work, so please bear with us.
A CD version will be released in the beginning of August, and the product will be on sale in other stores as well as soon as we can prepare all the needed files for that. We just didn't want to keep you waiting any longer !
